May 8, 2013 at 8:46 pmIf my Mom lived close enough to go with me she still wouldn’t go. She doesn’t even know who he is. Mom is a hard worker who pretty much drops into bed by 9pm and never does anything frivolous. She would tell me to make a nice evening of it, take my hubby to dinner and have a great time with no kids involved. Something she never did. She’s strong, amazing and always a giver … but at least once in a while you have to learn to accept something that is just for you. That’s what I’ve learned. I rarely do that, but I’ve learned it!
