The goal of the Beginner Run Clinic is to be able to cover around 3-5km at the completion of the clinic with a balance of running and walking.
Pre-Requisite – None! Just bring yourself, and a positive can-do attitude.
Kintec’s 10k Run Clinic guides you gently to the 10k distance over the course of the 10 weeks. Whether you are training for your first 10k or training to meet time goals this clinic is for you!
There are different pace groups within the 10k Clinic ranging from those that are more aggressive in time goals and to those that just want to cross the finish line with a smile on their face!
This clinic also incorporates different aspects of running including hills and running drills.
Pre-Requisite – You can comfortably run for 20 minutes.
Kintec’s Trail Running Clinics help get you off road to explore trails, many of which exist dab smack in the middle of the city! Explore some hidden gems and Lower Mainland classics with this group.
Our program covers navigation, safety, gear, hydration, nutrition, trail etiquette, goal setting, strength training, avoiding injury, recovery and rehab, race preparation, race strategy and trail maintenance.
Clinics will start at the corresponding Kintec location for the first 2 weeks, after which we will be meeting at various trails to explore the very best in your own backyard!

Kintec’s Half-Marathon and Full-Marathon Training Programs cover the entire range of half-marathon and marathon runners. For the Half-Marathon, there are programs for time goals ranging from 1:30 right up to 3:00 and for the Full-Marathon there are programs for time goals ranging from 3:10 to 5:00.
Enjoy the camaraderie of the clinic and train with like-minded individuals to strengthen your training leading up to race day. Our clinics also include educational seminars before each run on topics like nutrition, running technique, hydration, injuries and much more!
Pre-Requisite for the Half-Marathon – You have completed a 10k run.
Pre-Requisite for the Full-Marathon – You have completed a 21k run.
Marathon clinics are not included with the Run Club Package.
