Small Acts of Kindness

Small Acts of Kindness

While visiting the Kingdom of Lesotho, Kintec employees Ryne Melcher and Kristin Ohm-Pedersen had the opportunity to visit a local village and orphanage. They brought kids shoes donated by Kintec and over 100 soccer balls and books which were donated by some members of the Kintec Running Clinics.

Lesotho is a very beautiful country and welcoming population, but it is marked with tragedy. It has one of the world’s lowest life expectancies at 42 years. Lesotho has one of the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world and many of the children in the area are orphans.

Although this is a small gesture, it is small acts of kindness which can make all the difference in these young children’s lives.
